GIRLS (and guys) Please help!!! Relationship Advice..?

OK. Here's the story. There is this girl, I really like. I have for about two years now. Last year, I barely knew her. SHe didn't talk to me, i didn't to her. But I liked her. Now, this year, I got closer to some of her friends, and to her. I got her number eventually, through one of my friends. The entire school, including her, knows that he also ;likes her. He asked her out 2 times, and did again in gym class, through my phone. (he had the munber memorized) anyway... I got a reply, to my frined, later that day. I told her that it wasn't me, but then we started texting, and didnt stop till about 10 pm that night. From then on, I texted her mostly to start a convo, but she texted me as well. It turned out that we had nearly everything in common, except im a democrat and she is republican, but that didnt really amtter. The important thing is, that I barely ever talk to her. We were in a group (Me, her and her friend) in history once, and she started chatting with me. Otherwise, we dont really talk at school that much. But on facebok, we are like best friends. So sorry for making this so long, but anyone please help me out. Over these two years I have fallen in love with her, she is the most beautiful person I have ever seen.

Thank You

  • I need some relationship advice!?

Alright so there is this girl that I like. I took her on a few dates and we really seemed to get along great. We never kissed but we did hold hands and we had a lot in common.

Well after about the 4rth date I'd decided I really liked her and wanted to have a relationship. (Keep in mind we're both 18 and Christian so we didn't do anything nor were we planning on doing anything)

At about this point she started to distance herself. She stopped texting me the cute ';hey you :)'; text messages and started coming up with excuses not to hang out. I decided the best thing to do was to give her some space and to not be overbearing. I even went on vacation for like two weeks and hardly talked with her.

Well after a while I decided that I would try again to get some communication going between us. After a few un-answered attempts I talked to one of her friends. Her friend says she has attachment issues and she felt like we were getting too close... so she decided to cut off all contact.

So yesterday I sent her a nice email telling her it's totally alright. But my point that I'm trying to get across is I miss this girl. Honestly I really liked her... Any advice?I need some relationship advice!?
i get u bro but a relationships don't work one-sided unfortunately, i say move on and if she realizes the mistake she made, im sure she would start back the communicationI need some relationship advice!?
dude, she cut off all contact because she does not want to get attached. move on. get a girl that wants to be attached to you. its funner that way. i'm sure you do miss her, but that will fade away.

    I need some relationship advice?

my gf, the one i know for a fact that i love dumped me twice last week, and we went back out. and now i thought about what she did, and i wonder if she was right. something has really been different with us lately, it was like the love changed or went away, i guess you can say. and well we tallked early today and i told her maybe she was right so we broke up. first i thought it was the right thing to do you know, to give us time to think about what we want, but since after the hour it happened ive been so depressed. i just cant stand not being with her. she has helped me so much. shes the only person who ever showed me that they cared, which is kinda the reason i fell in love with her. but idk, if taking a ';break'; is right. i mean it seems like a good idea, but it just feels so horrible. i dont know what to do, can someone just help me out a little bit on here?I need some relationship advice?
I c, yeah its not going 2 feel good, i mean uve been with her for a long time right and u said shes helped u with a lot of things and has been there for u , its hard 2 let something go that has always been there, i think its a good idea taking a break,.. maybe ull fine ur selfs fulling in love agon or maybe ull fined someone batter, u naver no but about the feelinh bad part, it happens 2 all of use=)

I need some relationship advice? Is anyone willing to help me?

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years now. I love him to bits but I feel as though our relationship is fizzeling out. We are only 19, so have been together since our early teens. He does tell me he loves me all the time but we have some issues.

We don't do anything together anymore, it's like he cant be bothered with me anymore. I do think that he loves me but I just feel as though he assumes I'm here to stay and doesn't think about whether I am happy or not. Again I'm only guessing, this is just how it seems.

This morning he wanted to have sex, so we started off just touching and whatever and I accidentelly head butted him a little NOT HARD AT ALL. And then he told me to get off cause I was annoying him.

He went out of the room and then he came back in a rage saying that sex is boring now and that I'm turning boring and I'm not the same though I don't notice anything different? Is our relationship just falling apart or what, he gets annoyed/aggitated with me about the littlest things and sometimes I feel like he can't stand me being there.

Sometimes when I stay over his he will tell me that I have to go now? For no real reason just that he wants to 'get some things done' or 'sort something out?' Obviously this hurts quite a bit cause there is no real reason. He just wants me to go.

I don't know what to do to help the relationship? When I suggest doing something like going for a walk or going cinema he will just say it's boring? He has no motivation to do anything with me, again I do believe that he loves me though. How am I suposed to make anything exciting if we don't go anywhere or do anything?

Please help me or give me some advice anyone? I don't know where to go from hereI need some relationship advice? Is anyone willing to help me?
Let him go. It's time for you two to part ways and move on.I need some relationship advice? Is anyone willing to help me?
Sounds like this relationship has run it's course. You need to break up and move on.
wow i think you need to talk to him first about how your feeling. and if he says stupid stuff and hurts you're feelings it seems lk he is trying everything he can to hurt you so you can break up with him. maybe he has someone on the side? have you thought about that? i'd ask. maybe yall are spending too much time together. but talk about it or else it can get worse.
I think it's amazing that you've been in a four year relationship considering how young you were when it began.

Have you talked to him about his behavior ? He may be going through a phase where things are a Lottee stale for him, but I don't think it is necessary for him to behave in the way which you have described as it is hurtful.

I would normally believe that relationships at your age don't last long because most people feel the need to experience seeing a variety of people rather than sticking to just one.

Sometimes in a relationship, one person changes and the other one remains the same. I don't know enough about your relationship but maybe he feels that he needs to move on and maybe he's lashing out

at you to create a distance and maybe push you away.

As I wrote above, sit him down and talk to him. Tell him about how you feel and ask him what it is that he wants. Be prepared to hear something that may not be pleasant. At your age, guys are pressured to play the field and experience as many different girls as possible. Perhaps he's under this pressure? Either way he should not be treating you the way that he does. I see that you've tried to make things more exciting for you two, but he needs to make an effort too. If he really doesn't want to put forth the effort then it's time for both of you to move on to something better.

I hope this has helped you. I wish you the best, sweetie.
If i was you i would take the hint and leave, now i'm not saying he doesnt care but he is acting as if he doesn't want to be around you. He doesn't sound like he will stick around, he will probably end up trying to break up with you, and you don't need to be there as his footstool especially because you arent even married. I think you should move on, you deserve better, I don't think it will last. Just my opinion, hope for the best:)
Everyone needs personal alone time. He may just need some space and that is not a bad thing at all. You both have been together since you were very young. Have you considered taking a break from each other and giving him a chance to miss you?

If he is bored with you ask him what if anything can be done to liven things up again?

He could also be depressed and not want to have to deal with a relationship now,if he is agitated out of the blue. Maybe you have changed as you've grown more mature and he is not where you are at emotionally.

If so the relationship may be done.
I'm sorry to hear that your going through this in your relationship, but I'm just guessing also it sounds to me that there maybe another women he's seeing, how can he say that your boring in bed when he's probably the one that sucks he may be but trying to put the blame on you.... Tell him next time that he ain't no prize neither ..

    Just broke up.. relationship advice?

my ex and i went out for almost three years. we had our good times and our personalities went well together when we were getting along. but for the most part it ws fighting. i think hes a little nutty and controlling, and he thinks im wrong when i do things like go out with friends to a bar. anyway, so we've broken up and we're still talking daily through texts or calls. i just saw something on his facebook saying how he ws going out for his bday with people and of course i wasnt invited. we still both have feelings for eachother we just know we dont work-so it basically takes off the pain just saying goodbye by talking everyday.. however im realizing and ive heard this isnt good. what are your feelings about talking after breaking up? i know if he met someone id die of pain and would def have to stop talking to him.. but i mean for awehile is it ok to talk still or does it hinder the healing?Just broke up.. relationship advice?
Noooo...you need to cut all ties or you will get all swoony and wrapped up in feelings.

try dating other people. And if your not ready, do the things you enjoy. Have fun and live life; and try to forget about them.

Insecure guy seeks relationship advice. Please read.?

Hi, i've been dating a guy who is stubborn, unsupportive and doesn't seem to understand my troubled past with guys at all.

Ever since we started seeing each other I will admit, I have been very skeptical... by no fault of my own though !

I've told him my history and he's very aware of my insecurities and my issues regarding trust. However, he doesn't seem to take them into account when they arise. He's currently talking to another guy, I don't understand how he could possibly think that's OK with me, but whatever. It is his prerogative after all. ******I've never addressed it with him***** (is that a problem ?), but he says he's known him for longer than he's known me, and they're now within ';friend'; boundaries. It still bothers me, though, knowing that he AT LEAST, even if nothing is actually going on, has another guy in his life that is interested in him. All of this turns over in my mind each time he cancels on our dates, doesn't call, or is out of the house.

It makes me wonder, ';when he's not talking to me is he talking to him ?'; Like on New Year's, when i left home he had told me that he would call me the next day. But did I receive a call from him ? No.

However, when I checked his myspace comments I found out that he had called his ';friend'; the night he was supposed to call me.

What's worse is he provided no excuse, or thorough reason as to why he didn't call. I would've understood if that was the case.

Everything he does or says, i can't seem to believe wholeheartedly. I want to, but it's hard for me not to worry. I don't feel like he feels as passionately about me as he says he does.

It's not so much that I doubt everything he says, it's just that I'm trying to protect myself from disappointment. I called him last night to explain myself, and he made it clear to me that ';before we can continue seeing eachother, i need to work on myself.'; ';i'; being myself., not him.

I'm upset because I'm not top priority. I know that sounds bad, but I feel that since he isn't part of the solution, he is only being a part of the problem. I am aware that he is entitled to have his own life, but I don't think he is being very considerate %26amp; needs to at least help me work on my low self-esteem, rather than abandoning me like everyone else. I feel like if he cared for me at least half as much as he says he does, then he would be more supportive.

    What are everyone's thoughts?..

Am I right in feeling that he is being unsupportive? Also, what should I do? I don't want to lose what I have with him, or even take the risk. I don't feel like he understands how much he is hurting me by talking to other people. Am I being jealous, or petty ? And how should I go about bringing the topic up if I was to call him tonight.

Thanks in advance.Insecure guy seeks relationship advice. Please read.?
    I don't comment these things...

    Hmm...

Well, sounds to me like you're not willing to risk anything for the sake of attempting to better your relationship. If that is the case, then there is nothing anyone here can do for you, or anything you can do for yourself for that matter. You sound like a nice guy, and you sound like you deserve better. But if you don't take a chance and ';step out on a limb';, nothing will change. You need to talk to him, TELL him about your worries. And if he doesn't understand? Then let him run off to his little friend, because you can find someone who WILL understand and care.

Take a chance. You never know what might happen until you try, right?Insecure guy seeks relationship advice. Please read.?
so why you keep comparing your old relationship with your new one?

sorry to tell you dude but you are a drama queen that's why he broke up with you?

be more free with yourself, allow people to make mistakes, find your own center, don't project your unhappiness in your relationships.

    sorry

    i really care.

    you already lost it
    You want an honest-to-goodness reaction?

    DUMP HIM!!! For Pete's sake.

Don't be a martyr. Gays are born winners and not sore losers. You deserve a much better and fair treatment than what he is doing to you right now.

    Have a nice day.
    DUMP HIM!

He shouldn't be ';talking'; to other guys while dating you. You have a right to want exclusivity in your relationship, and honestly, it's safer since you don't even know this third person.

Look at yourself. Really look. Do YOU think you deserve this? Or do you want more? Are you ready for more?

Shield your heart. Don't allow someone to walk over you because you're afraid of messing up the status quo. You're not happy with status quo now, why stay?

You are a good person, not matter what. You deserve someone ho wants you and only you. You deserve better than to worry about what your bf is doing, knowing his is dating other people. Remove yourself from the equation.

Finally, work on yourself. Take time for YOU and no one else. Find out what you like and don't like; what makes you happy. Screw everyone else. Look in yourself to find confidence and calm to move you forward -- so you can pursue want makes you happy. I really hope you do leave this guy and find how awesome you are. Don't let this situation control you. You will find a guy for whom you are his heart.

I need good relationship advice , i cant deal with it no more.?

I really need some advice about my relationship.Me and my guy have been together for almost 4 years. And everything felt amazing till now.Lately im feeling that i dont know him anymore. He has this good skill of hiding his emotion. So you could never see on his face what he really thinks.Wich is really annoying it makes me insecure. And this happens when we talk sometimes. And im tired of asking him, ''what are you thinking baby''?.

I used to be not caring what a guy would think of me.I was confident about myself. But with him im turning into someone i told myself i will never be.Then i told him'' i dont know if i cant be with you baby''.. then he says like i cant live without u, i would die, i really cant do this and all that.Makes me feel even bad.Its like im stuck. And im feelin so insecure lately when im with him.Our love is really big, thats why its hard to leave him.I want to cry all the time, something heavy on my chest.Ahhh..its really hard.I want to get myself back.I need good relationship advice , i cant deal with it no more.?
Well I was in a similiar situation but 2 put even more stress on it I was pregnant with his baby.

I became a shell of myself..I was insecure, defensive, upset, depressed. I felt manic. I loved him but I hated what he was doing to me.

Finally when I was 5 months pregnant at around 4am I turned 2 him and told him 2 get out that it was over. At the time I was 5 months pregnant, my job was ok but there was no room for elevation, savings we're minimal, and I was conflicted as to what path id take. But when I told him 2 go I never turned back since.

I went by the Serenity Prayer. Trust me this prayer keeps you sane and makes so much sense of everything no matter how big or small. It goes ';God please grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage 2 change the thing I can and wisdom 2 know the difference';.....sometimes in place of the word serenity I say strength...sometimes you can't be calm about a situation it affects you to much so I strength so that I allow myself to be angry but not lash out at what's going on.

This method has worked wonders for me. I've been using it since my breakup in 06 with my sons father. We we're together 2 yrs. And when a recent relationship of 8 months with someone else ended it took me just 7 days to get over it.

Just think its not your fault....some things are out of your control....focus on all that you can control....like your life...your career...your finances...your happiness....

And guess what when I did all that I was happier than ever and they ALWAYS come back when you've gotten over them and are happy just keep the serenity prayer in mind and keep moving forward

REMEMBER if a person isn't a part of your present its because they aren't suppose 2 be a par of your future.I need good relationship advice , i cant deal with it no more.?
Well you need tell him that you feel he is changing and also tell you are feeling insecure because of it. What he tells next will decide your fate. If he tells, NO, i have not changed then you are probably wrong about his emotion ( i know 4 years but still). If he tells the problem, try and fix it or do whatever you can. Thats all i got to say
Sounds to me like you've answered your own question. Obviously you aren't as happy as you could be, I'd take a break to separate your lives and to remember who you are without him. When you're all sorted out, you can go back if you wish. But maybe you'll find a man that's perfect for you while you're not looking!
This is a tough question. But, if he's really putting you thrue that much stress, you should dump him. I know this is going to be very hard, but it's for the best of you. Just tell him you want to be friends, just not a couple anymore.
you should just take the plunge and leave him since you are already crying all the time and feel bad.

    go find someone new.

just because a relationships last a long time does not mean you were ment to be together for ever.

    good luck

You sound like you're in stage three. Stage four doesn't necessarily have to happen but I'm just saying relationships are a cycle.
I dated a guy for 3 1/2 years and it was the hardest thing in the world to break up with him. I just fell out of love with him ... which sounds so stupid. I didn't even believe it could happen until it did. I must've taken months to make up my mind and even though I was sure it was the right thing to do, it was still so hard and I spent hours and hours crying over it.

I think it's important to first evaluate what's going on between you two ... Is he being distant cos he's stressed about work or a family issue or is he being distant cos he doesn't want to be with you anymore OR is he just appearing distant cos you expect more from him than you have before.

If you're feeling insecure then you need to try and remove yourself from the situtaion a bit and try and evaluate your actual feelings before making a decision.

I really don't think you should stay with him just because you're scared and insecure.

I was in exactly the same position. After we broke up, I felt like I didn't even know myself anymore. Food tasted different, I stopped doing the things I used to love. It was so hard ... even though I was the one who broke up with him. Then one morning I woke up and decided I was gonna be positive about it and find myself again no matter how long it took. (it took me about 3 months to decide this) I packed my bags and went away for the weekend by myself and came home with a new outlook. I have never looked back. I'm now so much better and stronger than I was with my ex and because of that I have been able to realise that the person I really am was completely not the person I was with him. Now I realise that the reason I felt so insecure was that I was pretending to be someone I wasn't ... and the person I really am turned out to be so much better.
I'm having the same feelings excpet my bf doesn't hide his emotions. But I just keep telling my bf how I feel and we try really hard to fix the problem. I know exactly what you mean about feeling stuck. It makes things a lot harder. But if you did separate you would both get over it eventually. It's really hard to think like that but it's true. I would try to work things out before you do that though. Just tell him how you're feeling and try to figure out a solution that works for both of you.
You need to sit down with him and ask him to be more open with you, Also iff he hides his emotion well, You never really know what he could be up to.

Iff hes x-military That explains the emotion hiding.

Iff you feel like you got somthing on your chest yet no arguements have occure'd when hes also hard-headed and barely shows emotion. You could also be feeling that hes done somthing wrong, Without having to see or be shown or hear. Its human sence. Witch could be making you more and more unstable because you wont ask him whats on his mind.

I hope this has helped. %26gt;:)
If this guy is making you feel so terrible about yourself, you got to do YOURSELF a favour and get out of it, no matter what he says. You may think it's true love, but you wouldn't be feeling stuck and wanting to cry if it was. You can't have him depending on you so much like that, it'll put so much pressure on you, and make it so you can't even depend on yourself.

good luck hun! remember, no matter WHAT he says, you have to get out of it, for the both of you. it's unhealthy for him to be like ';i can't live without you';. and it's unhealthy for you.
Well glad to hear that you believe in God . . . I think you should pray first of all. Second of all, you two need to seriously sit down and talk about your relationship. Discuss what is great about it and what you both think you could work on. Once you figure out what needs to be done, think about if you can do that and if it would be worth it. It sounds like you two really care about each other, and I wish you both the best, no matter what the outcome. Just remember, a relationship should bring you happiness, not sadness.
Every relationship is different. The love between you two will last forever. Entanglement is infinite. Sometimes though, if the situation seems to going awry, You have to love each other enough to let each other go. Now, there is still a chance to save what you have. You two have to find and employ effective communication techniques. Us men hate getting asked 'what are you thinking' all the time. Instead of asking questions of him, make statements to him. Talk to him. Express yourself. Time is on your side.
