Difficult online relationship advice?!?

My (ex)boyfriend is a few years older than me. We've been going out for about three months now. He lives in a different country, and we probably won't meet anytime soon. The soonest probably being five or six years. After a good few months, I decided to break up with him. I kept talking about a crush on a straight guy I had, and our conversations were getting boring. I ended up hurting him, but I said I wanted to remain in contact over MSN.





But now that 'we're just friends' he changed his mind every five minutes. One minute he wants 'me back', the next he doesn't. He was depressed for the few days after the ';break-up'; even though we were still speaking.





But we talked today and had an argument because he keeps referring to other 'friends' he has. To be honest, he is my only true friend. People I know in reality, don't understand me. He's the only person I can talk to about everything. But I don't want a boyfriend for my only friend, especially when I'm a teenager.





I don't know what to do anymore?! Should I just never speak to him and try to forget about him... or what should I do? I don't love him...Difficult online relationship advice?!?
Well, it's a very strange relationship...You being in different country's I mean. You never know what the other is doing or if their even seeing other people since you too have never met in person! It seems like he is writing you off so I think the best thing would be to call the friendship off for a while. When things cool down maybe start talking again! The same thing happened to me only she's in the US. Yeah it's great being able to say anything to her, but. A few weeks ago she told me she was going to her mom's because she was 88 and had a few strokes so this might be it. Cool I wasn't going to say stay home. I haven't heard from her again. In this case I did love her. Sigh there are others.
